Nike has always been known for pushing the envelope when it comes to the development of new technology for its high quality sportswear. Last week Nike held its Nike Innovation Summit event in which they present the company’s latest ideas in addition to introducing upcoming product. The product that attracted the most attention this year was the highly anticipated Nike HyperAdaptive 1.0 shoe designed by the famous Tinker Hatfield.
Much like the “Back to the Future” Nike Air Mag, this shoe features what they are calling Electro Adaptive Reactive Lacing system, or simply known as “E.A.R.L.” Essentially the shoe is made so that is laces itself and gives athletes the most custom fit possible. With + and – buttons also embedded in the shoe, this allows athletes to adjust the fit to their liking. As of now, the shoe is scheduled to release later this Holiday 2016 season. So far, only black and white colorways have been announced. Stay tuned for more information.
